5 MUST HAVE DRINKS FOR ANY PARTY!
1. Classic Martini
An absolute must-have for any party. Not only is this a great classic to have, but you can also make your own adjustments to the recipe to make it one of your own creations. Try different types of alcohols such as gin or vodka as well as different types of olives. Plus, this drink will be sure to add a bit of style to your party. Just be sure to have it stirred and not shaken.
4 oz. Gin or Vodka
1 oz. Dry Vermouth
- Stir vermouth and gin with cracked ice
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and garnish with an olive.
2. Traditional Margarita:
This is a great drink to have at your party especially if it’s hot. This is one that will definitely help cool down your guests. The great thing about this drink is that not only can you serve it stirred, but you can also blend it with ice to make it almost like a slushy and trust us, on a hot summer day, having this blended can be a lifesaver for guests. Play with different elements in the drink such as adding different herbs or experimenting with different brands and types of tequilas.
2 oz. Silver Tequila
1 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Lime juice
Salt for the rim
- Rub the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with lime juice and dip it into the salt.
- Shake tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and ice in a mixing glass
- Then strain into the salted glass over ice.
3. Old Fashioned
You say old fashioned and we say classic! This drink is a great one to have at your party as this will draw all of those who want to have some class and style served along with their drink. This is a great drink for anyone who likes whiskey with a bit of sweetness. With having a variety of ways this can be played with, a creative bartender will be able to add a unique flair on this particular one.
2 oz. Bourbon or Rye whiskey
3 Dashes Angostura bitters
1 Sugar cube (or 1/2 tsp. loose sugar)
- Place sugar in an Old Fashioned glass.
- Wet it down with Angostura bitters and a splash of club soda, then muddle the ingredients.
- Add a large ice cube and whiskey.
- Stir and then garnish with an orange twist.
This is a great drink to have for a summer party as this is a drink that has hints of summer in every sip. Sweet, delicious and refreshing are some of the words that can be used to describe the Negroni.
1 oz. London dry gin
1 oz. Campari
1 oz. Vermouth Rosso
- Shake ingredients well with cracked ice.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
- Garnish was an orange twist.
This is another great drink for whiskey drinkers. We do suggest that while using quality whiskey is a for sure way to win the hearts of your guests with this drink, that using a sweet vermouth will be sure to make this drink one that everyone will remember.

1 oz. Carpano Antica sweet vermouth
2 Dashes Angostura bitters
- Stir ingredients well with cracked ice
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a twist or maraschino cherry.
